Walk into our Georgian galleries and you'll understand why couples book their entire wedding here, why companies choose us for their annual celebrations, and why private party hosts keep coming back. The Whole Venue at The Foundling Museum gives you exclusive access to all our historic rooms, from the Court Room with its 1740s Rococo plasterwork to the Picture Gallery where Hogarth paintings provide the backdrop to your celebration. We can welcome up to 250 guests for standing receptions across our interconnected spaces, or seat 110 for dinner in the Picture Gallery. The flow between rooms works beautifully for weddings, corporate events, and large parties. Guests often start with drinks in the Court Room, move through to dinner surrounded by 18th-century portraits, then dance beneath our chandeliers while the grand piano sits ready for late-night sing-alongs. Our approved caterers know these rooms intimately, they understand how to serve champagne without disturbing the Persian carpets, how to arrange canapé stations around the period furniture, and how to time courses perfectly in our historic setting. The PA system handles everything from wedding speeches to DJ sets, while natural light floods through tall Georgian windows during daytime events. Past clients particularly appreciate having the entire building to themselves. Previous reviews highlight our helpful staff and the unique atmosphere our collection creates. Companies have hosted product launches here, couples have celebrated throughout the night, and private parties have included exclusive curator talks between courses. Russell Square tube is five minutes away, with King's Cross, Holborn and Euston stations all within walking distance. The building has full lift access, and yes, we welcome children at family celebrations. Every booking supports our ongoing work with disadvantaged children, continuing our founding charitable purpose.

Venue was good for a group presentation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not suitable for presentations that require dial in as there are no capabilities for audio conference. The museum was also locked after 5:30pm so it was confusing for latecomers and difficult to f...
