Through the glass doors marked with our signature lettering, you'll find our Private Dining Room, a space we've crafted for those moments when privacy matters. The long walnut table runs the length of the room, seating up to 14 guests comfortably, while our display cabinets showcase the same fine glassware we use in the main restaurant, creating that familiar Harvey Nichols atmosphere in your own private setting. We've kept the design deliberately understated here, with dark wood furnishings and parquet flooring that echo the main dining room, but the soft lighting from our contemporary fixtures creates something more intimate. The room works equally well for breakfast meetings as it does for celebration dinners, and we've hosted everything from board meetings to milestone birthdays in this space. Our kitchen team prepares the same modern European menu you'll find in the Brasserie, though we can create bespoke menus if you're after something specific. The wine list runs to the same carefully chosen bottles from small producers, and yes, our bartenders can mix those perfume-inspired cocktails for your group too. We've found that many groups like to start with drinks and canapés here before sitting down to dinner. The room accommodates up to 20 for standing receptions or 20 seated around our dining configuration. Corporate groups particularly appreciate the privacy for presentations or sensitive discussions, while social gatherings tend to linger long after dessert, making the most of having their own space. Being in Birmingham's Mailbox puts us within walking distance of New Street station, and most guests find us easily whether they're coming from nearby offices or travelling in for the occasion.
