When you step into the Johnnie Walker Room, the first thing that catches your eye is the dramatic ceiling installation, its contemporary lighting fixtures creating an unexpected contrast against the traditional Georgian architecture. We've hosted everything from wedding receptions to corporate celebrations in this space, and guests always comment on how the large windows frame Hyde Park beautifully whilst flooding the room with natural light. The room comfortably seats 150 guests, though we've arranged it countless ways depending on the occasion. Round tables work wonderfully for wedding breakfasts and celebration dinners, whilst different configurations suit corporate events perfectly. The plush patterned carpeting in warm, neutral tones provides excellent acoustics, something your guests will appreciate during speeches or presentations. We're particularly proud of how flexible this space proves to be. The Johnnie Walker Room holds a wedding ceremony licence, and we've seen couples exchange vows beneath those striking ceiling lights before transforming the space for their reception. Corporate clients appreciate the built-in AV capabilities and the way natural light enhances daytime events, whilst evening parties benefit from the sophisticated ambiance created by our lighting system. The traditional meets contemporary design works brilliantly in practice. Those large mirrors along the walls don't just add visual depth, they reflect the warm glow from the windows during afternoon events and create an intimate atmosphere for evening celebrations. The fine china and glassware we provide suits formal dinners, but the space adapts just as well to cocktail receptions where guests mingle freely. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Victoria and Knightsbridge stations both nearby. Your guests will appreciate the private entrance, keeping your celebration separate from any other club activities. The Johnnie Walker Room remains available for non-member hire throughout the year, except during our Christmas closure period.
