Descending beneath London's bustling streets, our Full Venue Hire reveals a Victorian wonderland where original Turkish bath chambers have become the city's most atmospheric party space. Just 80 meters from Liverpool Street Station, your guests enter through hand-carved stone archways into what feels like discovering a secret society's private club. Red velvet drapes frame ornate columns throughout the space, while original gilt details catch the light from carefully placed chandeliers. The rich patterned carpets and plush upholstered benches create intimate conversation areas, even as the room opens up to accommodate 150 guests for standing receptions or 90 for seated banquets. We've preserved every inch of authentic Victorian craftsmanship, from the intricate wall patterns to the mosaic work that makes photographers fall in love with the space. Our striking bar becomes the natural gathering point, its blue backdrop and gleaming glassware creating a jewel-like focal point where guests naturally gravitate. The dining areas transform beautifully with candlelit centerpieces and crystal glassware, whether you're hosting a milestone birthday that needs theatrical flair or a corporate celebration that breaks every boring convention. The Grade II-listed architecture provides the drama, but we've added everything practical: full PA system for speeches or DJs, air conditioning that keeps the underground space comfortable, and Wi-Fi throughout. Our in-house catering handles everything from cocktail canapés to formal dinners, with halal, vegan and gluten-free options always available. The alcohol licence runs until midnight, though you're welcome to bring special bottles for a corkage fee. Fully wheelchair accessible despite the historic nature, this subterranean palace offers flexible layouts including theatre-style for 60, cabaret for 40, or classroom seating for 40. Currently booking for our 2027 reopening, we're accepting reservations for those ready to host genuinely memorable celebrations.
