The Event Space at The Compound transforms 12,000 square feet of former textile factory into Birmingham's most versatile party venue. Ed Sheeran chose us for his project, and when you step inside, you'll understand why. Those 35-foot ceilings create drama above the exposed brick walls, while natural light pours through our original factory windows during daytime events. We've designed the space across multiple levels, connected by industrial bridges and mezzanine floors that give your party real character. Your guests can flow between the main floor's open areas, discover our speakeasy bar tucked into one corner, or venture downstairs to our 25-seat underground cinema for something completely different. The ground floor features comfortable seating areas surrounded by greenery, creating natural spaces for conversation. Our fully equipped kitchen handles everything from cocktail canapés to seated dinners for 130 guests. The long dining table becomes a stunning centrepiece for more formal celebrations, while the art studio offers an unexpected space for creative activities or quieter moments away from the main party. Full vehicle access means bands can load in directly, caterers can set up easily, and you can bring any installations or decorations straight inside. The Jewellery Quarter location puts you right in Birmingham's creative heart, with excellent transport links for your guests.
