The Rooftop aboard The Boathouse London offers something genuinely different for your next celebration, perched atop our boutique boat with sweeping views across the water. This open-air deck comfortably hosts 20 guests for seated dining or 10 for standing receptions, creating the perfect scale for those gatherings where everyone matters. Picture your guests arriving to find a long wooden table dressed with fresh florals and our signature blue glassware, while string lights cast a warm glow overhead as evening approaches. We've furnished the space with wicker chairs and cushioned benches, surrounded by potted greenery that softens the deck's contemporary lines. The combination creates an atmosphere that feels both polished and relaxed, whether you're hosting wedding drinks, birthday dinners, or corporate celebrations. Our mooring in Paddington West puts you in London's first floating park, with Little Venice's charming waterways as your backdrop. Guests reach us easily from Paddington and Edgware Road stations, yet once aboard, the city noise fades into gentle water sounds. We hold an alcohol licence until 11:00 PM, and our approved caterers can craft menus from canapés to multi-course dinners, working with the boat's galley to deliver fresh, beautifully presented food. The rooftop works brilliantly for sunset cocktails that transition into starlit dinners, morning yoga sessions followed by brunch, or afternoon tea parties with a difference. Being on the water adds natural movement and changing light throughout your event, while the intimate scale means conversations flow easily between all your guests. For those wanting to extend the experience, our boat also offers overnight accommodation, letting you wake up to breakfast on deck after your celebration.
