The Silk room combines courtroom drama with party sophistication in ways you won't find anywhere else in Soho. We've kept the original judge's bench and witness stand from when this was the Great Marlborough Street Magistrates Court, creating conversation pieces that your guests will actually want to photograph. The vaulted glass ceiling floods the space with natural light during daytime events, while evening parties take on a more intimate feel against the warm English Oak paneling. Your guests can mingle comfortably with drinks in hand, with space for up to 60 people standing, or we can arrange elegant seated dining for 30. The rich red tablecloths we use complement the wood tones beautifully, and we can configure the layout however works best for your celebration, whether that's banquet style for a birthday dinner, cabaret setup for 24 guests who want to face the entertainment, or theatre style when you need everyone's attention on a presentation or speech. The room works brilliantly for both corporate celebrations and private parties. We've hosted everything from milestone birthday dinners to company award ceremonies here. The PA system handles speeches and background music effortlessly, while our catering team can create menus ranging from sophisticated canapés to full three-course dinners. The bar stays open until 11pm, giving you plenty of time to celebrate properly.
