Step through the original oak doors and you'll find yourself in The Church, a remarkable 1683 space where forty-foot ceilings soar above and chandeliers illuminate centuries of architectural detail. We've preserved every element of this Grade I listed building while ensuring it works beautifully for contemporary celebrations and gatherings. The grand piano sits ready for performances, its notes carrying perfectly through our exceptional acoustics, while the PA system handles everything from live bands to speeches with clarity. Natural light pours through tall arched windows during daytime events, creating patterns across the original stonework, and by evening those same windows frame the glow from our historic chandeliers. We can accommodate 200 seated guests or 230 standing, giving you flexibility for different event formats.
