The AU Lounge feels like Edinburgh's best-kept secret, tucked away in Le Monde Hotel's basement with its own private lift entrance, a detail our regular party hosts absolutely love. We've watched countless celebrations unfold here, from milestone birthdays where that light-up bar becomes the backdrop for endless photos, to cocktail masterclasses where guests learn to mix their own creations behind our gleaming counter. Red accent lighting washes across marble-topped tables while our integrated sound system fills the space with whatever soundtrack sets the mood for your event. We've configured this room dozens of ways, seating 20 for intimate dinners where conversations flow as freely as the wine, or clearing the floor for 40 guests to mingle with cocktails in hand. Our plush seating areas create natural conversation spots, perfect when you want some guests chatting comfortably while others dance. The technical setup never lets us down, with reliable Wi-Fi keeping everyone connected and our PA system ready for speeches or DJ sets.
