The Training Pool at the London Aquatics Centre transforms from world-class aquatic facility to extraordinary party space at the touch of a button. Our 50-metre pool features an adjustable floor system that rises to create a completely dry event surface, giving you 8 lanes worth of space for your celebration. We can also divide the pool into two 25-metre sections using our movable boom, perfect when you want distinct areas for different activities during your event. Your guests will find themselves surrounded by Zaha Hadid's architectural brilliance, with sweeping ceiling panels casting warm light across the space. The combination of sleek tiles and textured concrete walls creates a contemporary backdrop that photographs beautifully, while the sheer scale of the venue, accommodating up to 282 guests for receptions, means there's room for everyone to celebrate comfortably. We're just a short stroll from Stratford Station in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, making arrival straightforward for all your guests. Our dedicated changing facilities remain available throughout events, and we maintain the space at a comfortable temperature year-round. The pool's innovative engineering means we can keep the water at 28°C for aquatic events, though most parties take advantage of our dry floor option. Our in-house catering team handles everything from cocktail receptions to full dining experiences, and we're licensed to serve alcohol until 11pm. The Training Pool works brilliantly on its own or combined with our Olympic Pool for larger celebrations. From corporate parties to milestone birthdays, the versatility of this space, coupled with its Olympic heritage, creates an atmosphere your guests will be talking about long after the night ends.
