The Gallery & Bar captures everything we love about Iron House - raw Birmingham heritage meets contemporary art space. Four interconnected areas flow through original brick archways, each with its own personality yet working beautifully as one venue. The restored brick cobbled floor in the Main Gallery tells stories of the building's past, while our concrete surfaces and white walls create the perfect canvas for your celebration. Those 3.4-metre ceilings? They transform evening parties into something special, particularly when our gallery spotlights pick out the exposed brickwork and any artwork on display. During daytime events, the elongated roof lights pour natural light across the space, creating an atmosphere that shifts beautifully as your party unfolds. We've hosted everything from 40th birthdays with jazz quartets to product launches that spilled from gallery to bar as the night progressed. Our private bar anchors the social side of any gathering. Behind the wooden counter, we stock Birmingham craft beers alongside cocktails that actually taste like their ingredients should. The industrial bar stools and rustic touches aren't trying too hard - they simply work with the space's honest materials. Whether your guests cluster here for pre-dinner drinks or it becomes the heart of your party, the bar area creates its own intimate energy within the larger venue. The numbers work for most celebrations: 120 standing for cocktail-style parties, 60 seated for dinners. We can configure theatre-style, cabaret rounds, or U-shaped layouts depending on your plans. Bring your own caterer or food - our venue adapts to your vision rather than forcing you into ours. St Paul's metro station sits practically on our doorstep, with plenty of on-street parking for those driving into the Jewellery Quarter.
