In the Baronial Hall, medieval architecture creates something extraordinary for modern celebrations. Those soaring wooden rafters draw every eye upward, while the original stone inglenook fireplace anchors the room with its commanding presence. We've hosted everything from candlelit wedding dinners to corporate presentations here, each event taking on the hall's distinctive character. The space adapts beautifully to your needs, whether you're planning a standing reception for 100 guests, an elegant seated dinner for 60, or a theatre-style presentation for 85. For more relaxed gatherings, we arrange cabaret seating for 40, creating an intimate atmosphere beneath the historic ceiling. Natural light streams through the medieval windows during daytime events, illuminating the portraits and artifacts that line our stone walls. When evening falls, the hall transforms into something magical, with carefully positioned lighting highlighting the architectural details. Our technical setup includes Wi-Fi throughout, professional AV equipment, a projector for presentations, and a full PA system for speeches or performances. Sound carries beautifully through the space, enhanced rather than hindered by the historic architecture.
