When guests arrive at our Charter Gallery, they're greeted by walls dressed in deep, sumptuous wallpaper with gold patterns that catch the light from our contemporary hanging fixtures. We've carefully positioned artwork throughout the space, including historical paintings and a striking bust that always sparks conversation during drinks receptions. The gallery sits just outside our main Livery Hall, making it the natural gathering point where groups tend to congregate with their welcome drinks. We regularly set up the space for cocktail receptions hosting up to 80 guests, though we can also arrange it boardroom-style for 20 when you need a more formal setup. Many event organisers use the gallery as their pre-dinner drinks area, while others book it for standalone cocktail parties or corporate networking events. Our collection of Bakers' Company artifacts displayed here adds genuine character, these historical pieces give your guests something interesting to explore while they mingle. The rich wall coverings create an intimate atmosphere that works particularly well for evening receptions, and we've installed modern lighting that we can adjust to set exactly the right mood for your event. You'll find all the practical elements sorted: WiFi throughout, a projector when you need presentations, and our PA system for speeches or background music. Our alcohol licence runs until 11pm, and we work with approved caterers who know the space well and can create anything from canapé selections to substantial bowl food. Getting here couldn't be easier, we're a short walk from Tower Hill Station, with the Tower of London and the Monument both nearby. The Charter Gallery has full wheelchair access, and when you book with us, the space is exclusively yours, no other events running simultaneously to worry about.
