The courtyard at Daylight Studio catches you by surprise. Step through from our main building and you'll find yourself in this extraordinary space where Victorian brick meets contemporary design, all under a translucent roof that bathes everything in soft, natural light. We've kept the original painted white brick walls from when this was a working warehouse courtyard. They make perfect backdrops for wedding photos or provide texture for corporate presentations. The south-facing orientation means sunlight pours through our clear, diffused roofing from morning until evening, creating an atmosphere that shifts beautifully throughout the day. Metal spiral staircases wind up the walls, adding to the industrial character we've preserved throughout our venue. The space works brilliantly for different event styles. We can arrange 70 guests for a seated dinner on the concrete floors, or open it up for 200 people at a standing reception. Many couples choose to hold their civil ceremonies here, taking advantage of our wedding licence and the unique setting. Corporate clients often use the adjoining dining and meeting room for breakout sessions, while the styling room becomes a green room for speakers or a quiet space for wedding parties. We've softened the industrial edges with greenery, potted plants frame the space, and we can add hanging garlands for celebrations. String lights and lanterns transform the atmosphere as daylight fades. The furniture includes plush sofas and armchairs that create natural conversation areas, though we can clear everything for dancing or exhibition stands. The courtyard connects directly to our other studios, so you can expand into Studios 4 and 5 for larger events. Being just minutes from both Kensal Green and Willesden Junction stations makes arrival straightforward for guests coming from across London. Our production team handles all the technical requirements, from lighting design to sound systems, working with the natural acoustics of this unique covered outdoor space.
