Our 1930s printworks courtyard transforms into The Bowling Green, where we've created an outdoor events space that brings people together in unexpected ways. Step through from the ground floor and you'll find yourself on pristine artificial grass, surrounded by white brick walls that catch the afternoon sun just right. We strung fairy lights overhead last summer, and they've become such a hit that we keep them up year-round now, creating this lovely glow when evening events run late. The space works brilliantly for all sorts of gatherings. We can arrange tables for 30 guests if you're planning a seated dinner, or clear everything for drinks receptions hosting up to 50 people. The wooden fencing gives you privacy from the main building while keeping that open-air feel everyone loves. We've had everything from birthday parties to wellness workshops here, and yes, the occasional boules tournament too. There's something about being outdoors that relaxes people, makes conversations flow easier. The artificial grass means no muddy shoes or weather worries, and we can set up bar service right here in the space. Tables draped in green linen are ready when you need them, though many groups prefer the casual standing setup with high tables dotted about. The courtyard setting creates this natural acoustics where you can hear your guests without shouting over traffic. Getting here couldn't be simpler with Farringdon and King's Cross both walking distance away. Your guests can grab pre-party drinks at Exmouth Market round the corner, then stroll over when you're ready to start. The ground floor location means easy access for deliveries and anyone with mobility needs. This patch of green has seen bowling since the 1600s, and while we've swapped lawn bowls for party lights, that spirit of bringing people together remains exactly the same.

Couldn't access the Wifi but was able t use my mobile hotspot. Otherwise, excellent venue would definitely recommend

All good but wifi was super slow (4mb) that we used our hotspot for video calls, also there was no water fountain or vending machine and the cafe was closed :/

Nice venue, Jungle room was good for our purpose and cafe was nice.

Fantastic venue in a wondeful location. It is easily accessible with a lot of audio visual equipment that makes your meeting a wonderful experience.
