Pull back the curtain and you'll find our Private Room, a brilliant hideaway that's hosted everything from 40th birthday bashes to engagement drinks. We've kept the space flexible with a mix of high and low tables that we can arrange however works best for your party, whether that's 40 friends mingling with drinks or 30 sitting down for a proper meal. The walls showcase an ever-changing collection of local artwork that gives the room real character, while large windows flood the space with natural light during daytime gatherings. Come evening, the warm lighting and comfortable chairs in rich tones create the perfect atmosphere for celebrations that run late. We've mounted a flatscreen TV on the wall, handy if you want to screen photos from the birthday girl's most embarrassing moments or run a presentation for work drinks. What makes this room special is how it sits just off our main bar, separated by a curtain. Your guests get their own private space but can still nip out to challenge someone to shuffleboard or grab another round from our extensive craft beer selection. The room connects naturally to the energy of The Loose Box without losing its intimate feel. We regularly rearrange the furniture to suit different celebrations, from cocktail-style receptions where everyone's on their feet to seated dinners with Pizza Mannyacs bringing their wood-fired pizzas straight to your table. External catering is welcome too if you fancy something different. The whole venue is wheelchair accessible with adapted facilities, so everyone can join the party. Being just minutes from St James's Park Station means your guests can easily find us, and we're used to helping plan everything from surprise parties to team celebrations that actually feel fun rather than forced.
