The Marshall of Cambridge Room occupies a special corner of our Edwardian townhouse, where original architectural details meet modern event requirements. Those ornate ceiling mouldings and grand chandeliers have watched over countless celebrations since we restored this ground-floor space, and the way afternoon light pours through our expansive windows still catches guests by surprise. We find the room works brilliantly for different occasions. Corporate clients often book it for presentations and training sessions, taking advantage of our built-in PA system and flexible layouts. You can arrange up to 60 theatre-style, 30 classroom-style, or create a more intimate boardroom setting for 24. The U-shaped configuration proves popular for workshops and strategy sessions where interaction matters. For evening events, the atmosphere transforms completely. Our grand fireplace becomes a natural focal point during drinks receptions, where up to 120 guests can mingle comfortably. The plush carpeting helps dampen sound, so conversations flow easily even when the room fills up. Those large mirrors along the walls create an illusion of even more space while reflecting the warm glow from our chandeliers. Private dining here feels particularly special. We can seat 60 for banquets, and Blue Strawberry, our caterers, adapt their seasonal menus to suit your preferences. They handle halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free requirements with equal care. You're welcome to bring your own wines and champagne too, we just apply a corkage fee. The Marshall of Cambridge Room connects directly to our Bill Boeing Room, which opens up interesting possibilities. Many organisers use our space for registration or refreshment breaks during larger conferences next door.
