The Sidings brings together everything our regulars love about the Station Tavern in one perfectly sized private space. Those sliding doors that separate you from the main bar create instant privacy while keeping you connected to the buzz of the pub, and we've watched countless parties transform this room to match their mood. With exposed brick walls and industrial beams overhead, the space has that same relaxed character as our main bar, just more intimate. We've arranged the seating to be flexible, blue and brown leather chairs around polished wooden tables that work equally well for formal dinners or casual drinks. When you book for seated events, we comfortably fit 35 guests, but open up the floor and you've got room for 60 people to mingle. The vintage-style fireplace and wine rack add warmth to the room, while large windows bring in plenty of natural light during daytime events. That mounted TV screen comes in handy for everything from birthday photo slideshows to leaving do speeches, and our fast Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. The real bonus comes when you open those doors to our outdoor terrace, suddenly your party space doubles and guests naturally flow between inside and out. Being right next to Cambridge Railway Station at 2 Station Square makes arriving simple for everyone. We handle the catering through our kitchen, whether that's our famous beer-battered fish and chips for a buffet or a proper sit-down meal. The Young's on Tap App lets you control the music, so your playlist sets exactly the right atmosphere. Birthday parties, Christmas gatherings, leaving dos, we've hosted them all in The Sidings.
