Our second-floor Langley room watches over Ingram Street through tall windows, where Glasgow's merchant heritage meets contemporary celebration. Adrian McMurtie's commissioned artwork wraps the walls, his brushstrokes capturing the very streets and buildings that surround us, bringing Merchant City's story directly into your event. We've arranged this versatile space to welcome 60 guests for seated dining or 80 for drinks receptions. Round tables dressed in crisp black linens anchor the room, paired with our polished wooden chairs that strike the balance between comfort and style. Above, chandeliers cast that perfect amber light across the space, soft enough for intimate conversation yet bright enough to showcase the artwork and architectural details that make Langley special. The private bar tucked into the corner means your guests never wait long for their drinks, while our sound system fills the room without overwhelming conversation. When presentations or screenings are part of your plans, we'll set up the drop-down screen and digital projector, transforming the space from social venue to screening room in minutes. Getting your guests here couldn't be simpler, with Queen Street Station just a few minutes' walk through Merchant City. Once they arrive at 191 Ingram Street and pass through our historic bank vault entrance, the journey to Langley takes them through our restored banking halls, up the original staircases where judges once walked, past the soaring glass dome of our main floor. Whether you're planning a milestone birthday party, corporate celebration, or cocktail reception, Langley offers that rare combination of historical character and practical amenities. The room's proportions work equally well for lively parties where guests mingle between the bar and windows, or more formal seated events where McMurtie's murals provide the perfect conversation starter.
