The Boardwalk Studio Theatre transforms from an intimate performance space to a buzzing party venue with the flip of a switch. Our black box theatre in Merchant City creates the perfect backdrop for celebrations that need something more than the usual function room. The theatre's dramatic black walls and ceiling set the stage for unforgettable parties, while our vibrant red seating can be completely reconfigured or removed to create an open dancefloor for up to 140 guests. When you want a more relaxed vibe, we arrange cabaret-style seating for 70, letting your guests mingle comfortably between the bar and their tables. Our professional lighting truss system does more than illuminate, it creates atmosphere. From subtle mood lighting during drinks receptions to full-on party effects when the dancing starts, our technical team works with you to design the perfect ambience. The sprung Harlequin flooring means your guests can dance all night in comfort, while our state-of-the-art PA system delivers crystal-clear sound whether you're making speeches or keeping the dancefloor moving. Planning a themed celebration or want live entertainment? The projector transforms our space with custom visuals, while the theatrical setup makes it easy to incorporate live bands, DJs, or surprise performances.
