At No. 4 Hamilton Place, the Council Room and Foyer captures the grandeur of our Edwardian townhouse while offering modern versatility for today's celebrations. Rich golden wallpaper meets deep blue patterned carpets beneath ornate ceilings, where original chandeliers cast warm light across your gathering. The space naturally divides between the main Council Room and its adjoining foyer, connected through a striking wooden archway that frames conversations beautifully during drinks receptions. Natural light pours through tall windows dressed in luxurious drapes, offering glimpses of bustling Mayfair beyond. The original fireplace, crowned with period busts and artwork, creates an intimate focal point that guests gravitate towards during evening events. We find this combination of historical details, from the intricate ceiling work to the carefully preserved architectural features, provides an atmosphere that feels both special and welcoming. The ground floor location means easy access for all your guests, with the foyer serving as a natural gathering point before dinner or during arrival drinks. For seated dinners, we can accommodate 60 guests in banquet style, while cocktail receptions flow comfortably with up to 100 people moving between both spaces.
