The Dining Room welcomes you with rich red walls and distinguished medical portraits that immediately set this space apart from typical party venues. This intimate room comfortably hosts up to 25 guests, whether you're planning a private dinner party, small wedding reception, or celebration gathering. Original wooden furniture fills the space, including beautifully carved chairs with blue upholstery that guests often comment on. The glazed ceiling domes overhead create something quite special, natural light streams through during daytime events, while elegant fixtures provide a warm glow for evening celebrations. We've found this lighting combination works particularly well for birthday parties and anniversary dinners. The room connects to our Gallery and Oak Study, giving you options to expand your celebration across multiple historic spaces. A small bar sits conveniently nearby, perfect for pre-dinner drinks or keeping the conversation flowing throughout your event. Our exclusive catering partners handle all food service, offering everything from formal three-course dinners to relaxed buffet spreads, with halal and kosher options available. We're licensed until 11pm, so your celebration can continue into the evening. The flexible layout means we can arrange tables for seated dinners or clear the space for mingling and dancing.
