The Gin Parlour sits above the main bar at Gorilla Manchester, where rustic wooden arches curve overhead and exposed brickwork tells the story of these converted railway arches. We've transformed this mezzanine space into something rather special, with over 50 rare gins lining our dedicated bar and plush green velvet seating that wraps around the room. Step up the stairs and you'll find yourself in a completely different world from the industrial energy below. The wooden panelling warms the space whilst chandeliers cast just the right amount of light across the elegantly set tables. We can seat 45 for a formal dinner or accommodate 80 guests for standing receptions, making it versatile enough for everything from milestone birthdays to team celebrations. Our gin collection is what really sets this room apart. We've sourced bottles you won't find elsewhere in Manchester, and our bartenders know exactly how to showcase each one. The dedicated bar means your guests never have to venture downstairs for a refill, keeping your party flowing smoothly throughout the evening. The arched ceiling creates remarkable acoustics, perfect for speeches or background music that doesn't overwhelm conversation. Natural light filters through during daytime events, whilst evenings take on a more intimate glow. We've hosted everything from gin tasting masterclasses to surprise engagement parties up here, and the space adapts beautifully to each occasion. Located on Whitworth Street West, we're a short walk from Oxford Road and Deansgate stations. The separate access to the Gin Parlour means your guests can arrive without passing through the main venue, giving your event its own distinct identity whilst still benefiting from our full kitchen service and experienced events team.
