Deep blue walls frame The Snug, where Victorian woodwork meets the warmth of a crackling log fire. We've kept this corner of our venue intimate by design, with space for 25 guests standing or 18 seated around tables. Original polished floorboards reflect the light from tall windows overlooking Hunslet Road, while eclectic artwork adds personality to every wall. Your own private bar sits ready in the corner, stocked with our rotating selection of cask ales, spirits and wines. No need to leave your party for refills, and our bar staff will look after you throughout the evening. We've installed a flatscreen TV, PA system and reliable Wi-Fi, so whether you're hosting birthday drinks, a small wedding reception or anniversary celebration, the tech side runs smoothly. The log fire becomes the natural focal point during winter parties, creating that proper pub atmosphere you can't replicate elsewhere. In summer, those large windows flood the room with natural light, picking out the brass fittings and carved wood details that date back to the 1890s. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable when the party heats up. Our kitchen can prepare anything from sharing platters to three-course dinners for your group. Those famous Sunday roasts work brilliantly for daytime celebrations, or we'll create a menu that fits your event.
