The Terrace Restaurant comes alive when filled with celebration, its ornate ceiling patterns and grand chandeliers creating an atmosphere that photographs beautifully without requiring extensive decoration. We've hosted countless wedding receptions here, watching couples dance beneath the warm glow of our historic lighting while their guests enjoy dinner at round tables dressed in crisp white linens. Natural light pours through our large windows during daytime celebrations, illuminating the rich, deep colours and Victorian details that give the room its character. Our red-cushioned chairs provide comfortable seating for up to 100 guests at a banquet-style reception, though we can accommodate 150 for standing receptions when you prefer a more social atmosphere. The versatile layout means we can configure the space to match your vision, whether that's traditional round tables for dining or a more open arrangement for mingling and dancing. Being part of our Victorian red brick hotel dating back to 1704, the Terrace Restaurant offers more than just a beautiful space.
