The year is 1896, and you've just descended into our Victorian pub beneath the streets of London. Welcome to The Tavern, where gaslight flickers across rich mahogany panels and your guests settle into deep red velvet booths that have witnessed a thousand whispered secrets. We've recreated an authentic East End drinking den right in the heart of the London Dungeon, complete with circular booths perfect for conspiratorial conversations and scattered wooden tables where deals were once struck over bootleg gin. Our charismatic Landlord and Landlady bring the space to life with bawdy songs and scandalous tales of local rogues, while your guests enjoy themed cocktails at our well-stocked bar. The vintage piano in the corner hints at the entertainment to come, whether that's period performances or your own DJ spinning modern tracks once the historical hijinks wind down. We can accommodate up to 120 standing guests in The Tavern, making it ideal for corporate parties, themed celebrations, or any gathering where you want to offer something beyond the typical hotel function room. The space comes fully equipped with integrated lighting and audio systems, plus all the modern conveniences you'd expect, including air conditioning and Wi-Fi hidden discreetly behind period details. We're located just moments from Waterloo Station, with the London Eye and River Thames nearby, making it simple for guests to find us.
