The tiered wooden seating in L'Atelier gives this 50 sqm space its distinctive character, creating natural sight lines that work brilliantly for workshops and presentations. We've watched drama groups use those levels for rehearsals, teachers run language classes with students perched at different heights, and corporate trainers transform the room into an interactive learning environment. Natural light pours through the large windows, illuminating the vibrant yellow accent wall that adds warmth to the neutral tones throughout. The room sits right next to our kitchen, so when you're running a full-day workshop, refreshments and lunch service flow easily without disrupting your session. We often see groups take advantage of this during creative workshops, with participants grabbing coffee between breakout sessions. The TV screen mounted on the wall connects to our computer system, accepting both HDMI and VGA inputs from PCs and Macs. We've kept a flipboard ready for those who prefer marker-to-paper brainstorming, and the multiple AV connection points mean you can set up exactly where works best for your group. The seating accommodates 20 people comfortably, though we've seen yoga instructors clear the space entirely for movement workshops. The proximity to Ciné Lumière II opens up interesting possibilities, with some groups booking both spaces to combine workshops with private screenings. We've hosted everything from film education seminars that flow between classroom discussion and cinema viewing, to corporate teams using L'Atelier for strategy sessions before celebrating with a private film screening next door.
