The Back Lounge wraps you in deep red warmth the moment you step through from the main bar. We've created this semi-private haven for those who want something more intimate than a full venue hire, where up to 25 friends can gather for drinks or 20 can sit down for dinner around our wooden tables. Rich burgundy walls showcase an ever-changing collection of artwork and vintage mirrors, while our original chandelier throws gentle light across the dark tufted banquettes that line the space. The wooden floors have hosted countless celebrations, from surprise birthday parties to engagement toasts, each one feeling wonderfully personal in this tucked-away corner of our Islington home. We'll bring you cocktails mixed at our main bar, along with dishes from our kitchen, right to your table throughout the evening. The room flows naturally between seated dinners and standing drinks receptions, with guests often starting with canapés before settling into the banquettes for the main event. Our team knows how to read the room, keeping glasses topped up without interrupting those important conversations. The lounge stays comfortable year-round with air conditioning, and we've got strong Wi-Fi for any presentations or playlists you might need. Just a short walk from both Highbury & Islington and Essex Road stations, your guests can easily find us tucked into this vibrant part of N1.
