The spiral staircase catches your eye first, winding up to a second level where guests love to gather with their drinks, looking down at the party below. We're up on the sixth floor at Runway East London Bridge, and The Yard transforms our rooftop into something quite special, a proper outdoor party space that works brilliantly for everything from summer celebrations to festive Christmas gatherings. Our colourful mural sets the tone immediately, a bold artistic statement that photographers can't resist. We've tucked the bar into a converted shipping container, painted in vibrant colours that match the creative energy of the space. Most hosts bring their own drinks (there's a corkage fee), which means you can serve exactly what your guests enjoy. The bunting strung overhead and potted plants scattered throughout create that garden party feel, even though you're six floors up in central London. The space comfortably holds 60 people for standing receptions, with the upper deck providing extra room for conversations away from the main crowd. Our Sonos speakers deliver crystal-clear sound across both levels, and the WiFi reaches every corner, handy if you're mixing business with pleasure. The alcohol licence runs until 22:00, giving you plenty of time for proper celebrations. Getting here couldn't be easier, we're two minutes from London Bridge station, with Borough and Monument also within walking distance. The lifts zip straight up to the sixth floor, no trudging up stairs in party shoes. Once evening arrives and the terrace lights come on, the whole atmosphere shifts, those twinkling lights against the London skyline create the perfect backdrop for engagement parties, corporate celebrations, or any gathering where you want something more memorable than another indoor venue.
