The Courtyard transforms from a sun-drenched terrace by day into an atmospheric party space come evening, complete with twinkling lights and the buzz of celebration. This versatile outdoor area at our East Finchley venue brings together 80 of your favourite people for standing receptions or seats 50 comfortably for more formal dining celebrations. What makes The Courtyard particularly special for parties is its clever design, a retractable roof means summer garden parties can carry on through unexpected showers, while built-in heaters and stacks of cosy blankets keep autumn celebrations warm well into the night. The space comes alive with ambient lighting that sets just the right mood, whether you're hosting cocktail hour or dancing under the stars. We've thought through all the practical bits that make parties flow smoothly. The PA system handles everything from background music to proper DJ sets, and yes, you're welcome to bring your own DJ to keep the dance floor moving. Our projector works brilliantly for photo montages during birthday celebrations or company party presentations. The lush greenery surrounding the space creates natural privacy, perfect when you want your party to feel like its own world. The beauty of The Courtyard lies in how it connects with our other event spaces, you might start with welcome drinks here before moving inside for dinner, or use it as a chill-out zone when the main party gets lively. Our on-site catering kitchen supports external caterers who know exactly how to work the space, from passed canapés to full seated dinners. Getting here from East Finchley Underground takes just five minutes on foot, and we offer free parking on site, a real find in North London. The entire space is wheelchair accessible, and we hold the appropriate licenses for you to serve alcohol throughout your celebration.
