The Dining Room strikes that rare balance between City formality and genuine warmth, something we've cultivated since our family opened these doors in 2000. Walk past Sir Winston Churchill's signature Fedora Hat on the wall and you'll find yourself in a space where Victorian furnishings meet carefully chosen contemporary art, creating an atmosphere that feels both established and current. Natural light pours through large windows overlooking St Stephen Walbrook's garden during morning meetings, while come evening, our original gas lamps cast a glow that transforms the room for dinner parties. We've hosted everything from boardroom sessions for 24 to standing receptions for 70, with our team reconfiguring the space to match each occasion. The grand chandelier overhead and the stately fireplace anchor the room, while the flexible layout means we can arrange theatre-style seating for 50 or an intimate banquet for 44. Our kitchen, founded on Albert Roux's exacting standards, sends up dishes that marry British and French influences, paired with wines from our cellar particularly strong on clarets and white burgundies. The projector and flatscreen TV blend discreetly into the décor when needed for presentations, and our WiFi handles video conferences without fuss. Many clients bring their own playlists or arrange a DJ for evening celebrations, and we're happy to work with whatever vision you have.
