This entire upper level transforms into your private botanical sanctuary, with trailing plants weaving between exposed wooden beams and Edison bulbs casting a gentle glow across rustic tables that seat up to 150 guests. We've watched countless celebrations unfold here, from wedding receptions where couples exchange speeches beneath our canopy of greenery, to Christmas parties that spill onto the bay-view terrace when the mood strikes. Birthday gatherings love how the striped upholstered chairs and warm wood create that relaxed dinner-party feel, while corporate teams appreciate the natural light flooding through during daytime conferences and strategy sessions. Our events coordinator works alongside you to shape the space for your specific needs, whether that's arranging long banquet tables for formal dinners or creating clusters for mingling. The dedicated server team knows every corner of this floor, ensuring drinks stay topped up and our signature hanging kebabs arrive at just the right moment. We adjust menus for all dietary requirements, crafting everything from grazing platters to three-course feasts. Mermaid Quay's transport links put you minutes from Cardiff city centre, with plenty of parking nearby for out-of-town guests. The space comes alive differently through the seasons: summer events often drift between inside and our terrace, while winter gatherings huddle contentedly among the fairy lights and foliage. Please note we keep Friday evenings and Saturdays free during our busiest months (April through August), and depending on numbers, we might arrange a section rather than the complete floor. Our minimum booking is 75 guests, ensuring the atmosphere stays lively and your celebration feels properly special.
