The Theatre at Old Joint Stock transforms from Birmingham's intimate performance space into your private event venue at the flick of a switch. This 96-seat black box studio on the second floor has hosted everything from stand-up comedy nights to corporate product launches, and we've learned exactly how to make each event shine under our full analogue lighting rig. Walking up to our theatre level, you'll hear the hum of the city fade as you enter this dedicated space. The flexible seating means we can arrange 40 people boardroom-style for strategy sessions, set up cabaret tables for 96 guests at wedding receptions, or keep the traditional theatre rows when you want all eyes on your presentation. Our technician knows every quirk of the sound system and can help create the perfect atmosphere, whether that's spotlight drama for award ceremonies or gentle washes of colour for cocktail parties. The stage itself becomes whatever you need, a dance floor for birthday celebrations, a platform for your CEO's annual address, or the focal point for live entertainment at your wedding. Those dark curtains you see aren't just theatrical decoration, they create an intimate cocoon that makes 100 standing guests feel like they're part of something special rather than lost in a vast hall. We've installed air conditioning that keeps summer parties comfortable and free Wi-Fi that supports seamless presentations. The projector and flatscreen TV handle everything from wedding slideshows to corporate training videos.
