The Hyde Garden comes alive when our French doors swing open to reveal this tucked-away courtyard where Virginia creeper climbs the walls and potted olive trees frame your dining experience. We've arranged our wrought-iron tables and chairs, each topped with burnt orange cushions, to create intimate corners for conversation while maintaining space for groups to mingle freely. Our garden terrace accommodates 12 guests for seated dining or 20 for drinks receptions, making it the perfect size for birthday celebrations, anniversary dinners, or those business lunches that benefit from fresh air and natural light. The large canvas umbrellas we've positioned throughout provide just enough shade during sunny afternoons, while string lights woven through the branches create a warm glow for evening gatherings. What makes dining here special is how the sounds of the city fade behind our ivy-covered walls. Our chefs prepare the same modern European menu you'll find in The Hyde Restaurant, though we notice guests particularly enjoy our afternoon tea service out here, complete with tiered stands of sandwiches and scones served on crisp white linens. The bar team wheels out a drinks trolley stocked with everything from Pimm's to our collection of rare whiskeys, depending on the occasion. Being just minutes from Hyde Park and Paddington Station means your guests can easily find us, yet once they step through to the garden, they discover this unexpected sanctuary.
