Step into our Victorian Galleries and you'll find yourself surrounded by the rich crimson walls that have become synonymous with Manchester's finest art collection. Pre-Raphaelite masterpieces and Victorian treasures line these rooms, creating an atmosphere where cultural heritage becomes part of your celebration. We've hosted everything from intimate wedding dinners beneath the watchful gaze of Rossetti's works to bustling cocktail receptions where 350 guests mingle among the paintings. The high ceilings with their ornate moldings draw the eye upward, while the original parquet flooring grounds the space in history. Our galleries accommodate 90 for seated dinners, with tables arranged between the artworks so your guests dine quite literally immersed in culture. Natural light streams through the gallery during daytime events, bringing out the depth of colours in both the paintings and our signature red walls. As evening approaches, we adjust our lighting to create the perfect ambiance, whether you're hosting a sophisticated birthday party, product launch, or anniversary celebration. Our in-house catering team works from the gallery kitchens to deliver everything from elegant canapés during standing receptions to full three-course banquets. We source ingredients locally and adapt menus to suit your preferences and any dietary requirements. The PA system ensures speeches carry clearly throughout the space, while air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable regardless of the season. You'll find us right in Manchester city centre, making arrival straightforward for your guests whether they choose public transport or the nearby parking facilities.
