Bar 3 sits upstairs at Proud Mary Pub, wrapped in teal velvet booths and flooded with natural light from the wall of windows overlooking St Mary Street. We've designed this semi-private space to handle everything from 40th birthday bashes to leaving dos, with room for 120 guests standing or 40 seated cabaret-style around tables. The private bar anchors the room, its red neon glow cutting through the daylight or setting the mood after dark. Our bartenders keep the draught taps flowing and cocktails coming without your guests having to venture downstairs. That spiral staircase connecting to the main bar below means you get the best of both worlds, privacy when you want it, easy access to the full venue energy when you don't. We've watched countless parties unfold here, from raucous hen parties making full use of our Light booth photo box (those instant phone photos are always a hit) to corporate teams actually paying attention to presentations on our built-in projector. The velvet booths tend to become the unofficial headquarters for plotting the next round of drinks or recovering between dance floor sessions. The windows transform the space throughout the day. Afternoon gatherings catch Cardiff going about its business below, while evening parties watch the street lights come alive. Our air conditioning keeps things comfortable when the dance floor heats up, and there's proper storage for coats and bags so nobody's tripping over handbags. Getting here couldn't be easier, we're right in the city centre with paid parking nearby and our lift makes the upstairs location accessible for everyone.
