Walking through the private entrance of the Botanical Bar, you'll understand why groups keep coming back to this upstairs retreat at The Oliver Conquest. Rich wooden paneling wraps around the space, creating that perfect pub warmth while giving your party complete privacy from the main bar below. With room for 50 standing guests or 25 seated, we've hosted everything from milestone birthdays to startup launches, each one taking advantage of the flexibility this space offers. The private bar runs along one wall, showcasing our collection of over 220 gins from around the world, though your dedicated bartender can mix whatever your group fancies. Natural light pours through the large windows during afternoon gatherings, while evening events take on a more intimate glow from the ambient lighting. The eclectic artwork dotting the walls adds character without overwhelming, letting you set your own tone for the celebration. We've equipped the space with everything practical events need: a flatscreen TV that works brilliantly for presentations, a PA system for speeches or your own playlist, and those essential private facilities that mean no queuing downstairs. Just moments from Aldgate East Station, with Aldgate and Tower Hill within easy walking distance, your guests won't struggle to find us.
