Five floors up from the bustling streets of Shoreditch, our rooftop terrace opens onto some of the best views in East London. The Upper 5th Shoreditch welcomes up to 150 standing guests into an open-air space where the City skyline becomes part of your celebration. From corporate summer parties to milestone birthdays, we've hosted it all up here under the stars. The terrace wraps around wicker sofas topped with bright blue cushions, where guests naturally gather for conversations over cocktails. Modern chairs dot the space between lanterns that cast a warm glow as evening falls. Our sound system plays throughout the terrace, controlled from your phone or left to our team who know exactly what volume works for animated networking without drowning out conversation. When the weather cooperates, we fire up our BBQ kitchen. The smell of grilling meat and vegetables drifts across the terrace while our chefs prepare everything from halal options to creative vegan dishes. Our bar team serves until 11 PM, mixing cocktails as the city lights begin to twinkle below. Table service means your guests won't miss a moment queuing at the bar. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Old Street Station just minutes away on foot. The historic courthouse building below adds character to your arrival, though once you step out onto our fifth floor, it's all about those views. We've installed proper heating for cooler evenings and ensure full wheelchair access via our lifts. Our events team handles the logistics while you focus on your guests, and if anyone needs to stay over, we have 86 rooms and 42 suites right downstairs. The terrace comes alive differently through the seasons, from long summer evenings to crisp autumn nights when the city sparkles.
