We've created this semi-private space at The Refinery CityPoint as an escape from corporate London, where velvet seating in rich jewel tones invites you to sink in and stay awhile. The illuminated bar glows softly against the wall, casting warm light across the room while natural daylight streams through our large windows during afternoon events. Just minutes from Moorgate Station, our space works beautifully for those milestone birthdays where you want somewhere special without the formality. We regularly host intimate wedding celebrations here too, with couples drawn to the unexpected combination of sophisticated comfort and that touch of whimsy from our tropical wall coverings. The room holds 70 guests for standing receptions or 40 for seated dinners, giving you flexibility in how you use the space. Corporate gatherings take on a different energy in The Lounge. Teams book us for product launches where the flatscreen TV and PA system handle presentations seamlessly, while the relaxed atmosphere encourages genuine conversation afterwards. Our in-house catering team prepares everything from canapé selections to three-course dinners, with our bar staying open until midnight to keep the celebration going. The space flows naturally between different uses throughout an evening. We've watched birthday parties start with seated dinners before guests naturally gravitate towards the bar area as the night progresses.
