Step through the unmarked door and descend into 5CC Bar, where exposed brick meets leather booths in our atmospheric basement space. We've created something special down here, a proper speakeasy that feels miles away from the Shoreditch streets above, yet you're only minutes from Old Street Station. The room works brilliantly for different setups. We can accommodate 100 of your guests standing for drinks and mingling, or seat 80 comfortably for dinner. Our tufted leather booths hug the walls, perfect for those wanting to chat away from the main action, while the central area stays flexible. Add trestle tables for dining, arrange cabaret-style for 60, or keep it open for dancing. The bar anchors everything, its high-backed leather stools always occupied once your guests settle in. Those exposed brick walls and moody lighting aren't just for show, they create an atmosphere your guests actually remember. Neon signs punctuate the darkness, vintage meets modern in the furniture choices, and the whole space has this energy that gets people talking. Our in-house team handles all the catering (no outside food, keeps things simple), and the bar comes fully stocked with everything you'd expect. Technical bits? We've got you covered with WiFi throughout, a PA system for speeches or background music, and a projector if you need visuals. The space holds 24 boardroom-style too, though honestly, that feels like missing the point of what we've built here. Fair warning: being a basement venue, we don't have lift access, so it's not suitable for wheelchair users. But for everyone else wanting something different from their Shoreditch party, corporate bash, or private celebration, 5CC Bar delivers that underground feel with all the convenience of central London. Moorgate's also nearby if your guests prefer that route.
