The Auditorium at Ghillie Dhu Step into our Auditorium and you'll understand why couples choose this former church sanctuary for their most important celebrations. Those soaring vaulted ceilings, crowned with intricate cornicing, create an atmosphere that's both intimate and grand, while authentic oak paneling runs along the walls, warming the space with its rich patina. We've carefully preserved the architectural details that make this room so special. Large circular chandeliers hang from the original ceiling beams, casting gentle light across the polished wooden floors where up to 300 guests can gather for drinks and dancing. For seated occasions, we configure the space for 180 diners, or arrange theatre-style seating when you need a more formal setup. The grand organ still commands attention at one end of the room, a striking reminder of the building's heritage that makes an unforgettable backdrop for wedding photographs. Throughout the day, natural light streams through the tall arched windows, gradually giving way to our atmospheric evening lighting that transforms the space with warm amber tones. Heavy drapery frames the windows, adding drama while helping create perfect acoustics for speeches, live music, or your chosen entertainment. We find the room works beautifully for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate gatherings that need to impress, and private celebrations where the setting becomes part of the story.
