The Event Space Our versatile event room wraps around the open kitchen at OKN1, where polished wooden floors meet soaring windows that bathe the space in natural light. We've designed this area to flow seamlessly from indoor gathering to outdoor celebration, with direct access to our private garden that's become a favourite spot for summer parties and networking events. The room's flexible layout centres around high tables and stools that we can arrange to match your vision, whether you're planning a product launch for 100 standing guests or an intimate dinner for 60. Our striking bar catches everyone's eye with its colourful patchwork design against a bold blue backdrop, creating the perfect focal point for drinks receptions. When you book the space, you'll have exclusive use of both the indoor area and garden, giving your guests room to move between spaces naturally. We regularly transform this room for everything from corporate presentations to birthday celebrations, book readings to photography sessions. The open kitchen design adds energy to dinner events, as guests can watch our chefs preparing modern British dishes throughout the evening. For daytime gatherings, those floor-to-ceiling windows create an inspiring backdrop, while evening events benefit from our carefully planned lighting that shifts the mood completely. The garden extends your options considerably, especially between May and September when we can accommodate an additional 100 guests outdoors. Corporate groups often start with presentations inside before moving to the garden for relaxed networking. The outdoor space stays surprisingly peaceful despite our central location, just five minutes' walk from both Old Street and Hoxton stations.
