À propos de The Crypt
20 Banquet
20 Réception
The Crypt transforms our historic basement into something quite special, with jungle-patterned wallpaper wrapping around stone walls that have stood here for centuries. This private dining room seats 20 guests comfortably at two long tables, or we can arrange it for standing drinks receptions when you prefer guests to mingle freely. Deep blue leather banquettes line the walls, creating cosy corners for conversation, while vintage lamps cast warm pools of light across the space. We've hung heavy curtains that section off areas when you want to create different zones for your celebration, and the ornate ceiling patterns overhead add unexpected detail to this underground sanctuary. Our kitchen sends down the same wood-fired pizzas and handmade pastas served upstairs, presented on sharing platters that work brilliantly for both formal dinners and casual gatherings. The space comes alive for birthday parties, engagement celebrations, and those dinners where you want complete privacy away from the main restaurant buzz. We've equipped The Crypt with everything modern parties need, from reliable Wi-Fi to carefully positioned lighting that sets the mood as evening deepens. The intimate scale means your group owns the entire space, whether that's 20 colleagues finishing a project or friends gathering for a milestone birthday. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Gloucester Road station just minutes away and both Fulham Broadway and South Kensington stations within easy reach. Late-night transport options mean your guests can stay until closing without worrying about the journey home. The combination of our building's original features and these botanical wall coverings creates an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in Chelsea, perfect for those celebrations that deserve somewhere memorable.
