The Event Floor transforms our historic mill into something quite special for celebrations. When you first step inside, those cascading rings of modern lighting catch your eye, creating an immediate sense of occasion against the original 1907 brickwork. We've hosted everything from wedding receptions to milestone birthdays here, with couples often telling us they fell in love with the contrast between the industrial beams overhead and the warm parquet flooring underfoot. Our Event Floor comfortably welcomes up to 200 guests, whether you're planning a seated dinner for 170 or a cocktail reception where everyone can mingle freely. The space adapts beautifully to different setups, from cabaret-style arrangements to formal banquet layouts. Those massive original windows we preserved flood the room with natural light during afternoon celebrations, while evening events take on a completely different character when our lighting installation comes into its own. We've dressed the space recently with black linens and transparent chairs, accented by centerpieces featuring feathers and pearls, though we're happy to work with your own styling ideas. The exposed brick walls provide a dramatic backdrop for photography, particularly popular with wedding parties who want something different from traditional venue shots. Our air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, and the flatscreen TVs scattered throughout mean corporate celebrations can incorporate presentations seamlessly. Getting your guests here couldn't be simpler, just off the M60 with plenty of free parking in our secure lot. Many event organisers appreciate that we're equally accessible from Manchester City Centre and Oldham town centre.
