The Cocktail Bar greets you with the warm scent of aged wood and the gentle hum of conversation from the street outside. We've created this ground-floor space to capture the spirit of a proper speakeasy, complete with dark wood furnishings that have developed their own patina over countless celebrations. Walk past our bar and you'll spot the backlit shelves showcasing our spirit collection, each bottle catching the light from the pendant lamps overhead. The rustic wooden bar facade contrasts beautifully with the industrial touches we've kept from the building's past life. Our bartenders work their magic here while your guests settle into high stools or sink into the comfortable chairs around our wooden tables. During daylight hours, sunlight streams through the large windows, illuminating the exposed brick walls and the potted plants we've scattered about. Come evening, we draw the blackout curtains and let the moody lighting take over, transforming the space into something more intimate. The integrated sound system means your chosen playlist flows seamlessly through the room, whether that's smooth jazz for a corporate gathering or something more upbeat for a birthday celebration. We accommodate 45 seated guests comfortably, or 60 if you prefer a standing reception. The flexible layout works just as well for boardroom meetings as it does for cocktail parties, and we can arrange the furniture in theatre, U-shape, or banquet style depending on your needs. You'll find us on 133 High Street in E15 2RB, just minutes from Pudding Mill Lane Station. Many groups use The Cocktail Bar as their starting point before exploring our other floors, though plenty are perfectly content to spend their entire evening in this atmospheric space. We operate on minimum spends rather than hire fees, with amounts varying by day and season.
