Victorian brick meets contemporary cool in The Annex + Arch 2, where 3,400 square feet of flexible event space spreads across two interconnected railway arches. The original brickwork from the 1865 station curves overhead, creating dramatic arched ceilings that frame your celebrations perfectly. We've polished the concrete floors to a mirror shine, reflecting the warm glow from our industrial lighting trusses that span the length of the space. Your guests enter through Old Street, just moments from the station, into a room that transforms beautifully for different occasions. The open layout means we can configure the space exactly as you need it, whether that's creating distinct areas for dining and dancing at a wedding reception, or arranging exhibition displays for a product launch. Up to 200 people can mingle comfortably here, with plenty of room for bars, entertainment areas, and whatever your event requires. The combination of The Annex's bright, white-walled showroom space with Arch 2's atmospheric brick chambers gives you interesting options for event flow. Many clients use The Annex for drinks receptions with its natural daylight, then guide guests through to Arch 2 where the Victorian architecture creates an intimate party atmosphere. Our ducted air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable year-round, while the high-speed internet handles any technical requirements from livestreaming to presentations. After your event, guests often mention how much they enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood, with Boxpark's restaurants and bars just around the corner, and Brick Lane's famous curry houses a short walk away. Our full premises licence runs until midnight, though we can arrange extensions when your celebration needs to continue into the early hours.
