The Cabin Room's oak-panelled walls have witnessed countless celebrations over the years, and we love how the antique tankards hanging from the ceiling catch the light during evening parties. This intimate space sits tucked away from the main pub areas, giving your group complete privacy while still feeling connected to the energy of our historic venue. We can accommodate up to 20 guests here, whether you're planning a sit-down birthday dinner or drinks reception. The room works particularly well for milestone celebrations, with enough space for everyone to mingle comfortably without feeling cramped. Those large windows overlooking our riverside terrace and the Thames create a brilliant backdrop, especially as the sun sets over the water. Our events team has hosted everything from 40th birthday parties to anniversary celebrations in this room. The crisp white table linens and fine glassware come as standard, and we'll work with you to create the right atmosphere for your event. Many groups love starting with drinks on the terrace before moving into the Cabin Room for dinner, taking advantage of those river views while the weather's good. The space comes with all the practical bits you might need, including Wi-Fi and sound equipment for speeches or background music. We've got a flatscreen TV mounted discreetly if you want to show photos or videos during the celebration. Our kitchen team can create custom menus for your party, with plenty of options for dietary requirements including vegan and gluten-free dishes. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Blackwall DLR just a short walk away and Canary Wharf about 10 minutes on foot. There's something special about celebrating in a room with this much character, where the maritime history creates natural conversation starters and the Thames views add that extra touch to any gathering.
