The wooden floor catches the afternoon light differently as the Thames flows past our panoramic windows in Thomas Doggett's Bar, where up to 120 of your guests can gather for drinks and celebration. Named after Thomas Doggett, who founded the world's oldest running boat race, this space on our upper floor gives you St Paul's Cathedral as your backdrop, with the City of London skyline stretching beyond. We've designed this room to work brilliantly for different occasions. Your corporate reception flows naturally around the private bar, while birthday parties spill into every corner of the space. The theatre-style setup accommodates 90 guests when you need everyone facing forward for presentations or speeches. Those intricate ceiling patterns cast a warm glow as evening arrives, creating atmosphere without any extra effort on your part. Wooden chairs with colourful cushions dot the room, some arranged around small tables, others ready to be moved wherever your event needs them. We've added plants throughout the space, bringing life to corners and breaking up the room naturally. The artwork on our walls tells stories of the Thames and its history, giving your guests conversation starters between drinks. Your own private bar means no queuing with other pub customers, and our bar staff know exactly how to keep glasses filled without interrupting important moments.
