This 17th-century building has hosted countless parties since our club's founding, and we know exactly how to make the most of our riverside position for your event. When you book the whole venue, you're getting both our River Room upstairs with those famous panoramic Thames windows, and the Library Room below that opens straight onto the gardens. The River Room seats 120 for dinner, while together we can accommodate 100 guests for seated dining or 150 for standing receptions. Your guests naturally flow between our indoor spaces and private gardens, especially during summer weddings when the lawn becomes an extension of your party. Our high ceilings showcase original chandeliers that catch the light streaming through tall windows, while polished wooden floors and white-panelled walls create that perfect balance between historic character and contemporary elegance.
