The Gallery Bar at De Hems Dutch Café Bar brings proper Dutch hospitality to your private events right above the bustle of Soho. We've transformed our first-floor space into something special, where exposed brick meets elegant patterned wallpaper and daylight streams through large windows overlooking the street below. Your guests can spread out across our wooden floors, gathering around round tables for intimate conversations or arranging rectangular ones for more formal dinners. We comfortably host 100 people for standing receptions, with everyone moving freely between the private bar and seating areas. For sit-down occasions, we arrange tables for up to 50, whether that's banquet-style for celebrations or classroom configuration when you need everyone focused forward. The private bar runs the full length of one wall, stocked with our complete selection of Dutch and Belgian beers. Your bartender stays dedicated to your group all evening, pouring everything from Heineken to harder-to-find Trappist ales. We keep the kitchen running too, sending up platters of bitterballen and our full range of Dutch bar food whenever you need them. Our projector drops down from the ceiling onto a retractable screen, while the wall-mounted TV provides a second display option. The PA system connects easily to laptops or phones, letting you control presentations or background music. Soundproofing keeps your conversations private, particularly useful when discussing confidential matters or simply wanting to turn up the volume. You'll find us tucked between Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus stations, both just minutes away.
